Rosie the Riveter Excursion

Rosie the Riveter is the iconic character who appeared on famous WWII-era recruitment posters and represented women working industrial jobs to support the war effort. To many women, she has also come to represent women’s empowerment and the struggle for equality. 


Join us as we enjoy witnessing a possible Genius Book of World Record moment. You will have the options of watching or marching with over 2500 Rosie the Riveter's participants at the largest Rosie the Riveter Rally's in the world. The day will also include a home front festival at Rosie the Riveter World War II Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, Calif. There will be food trucks on site with many other festival festivities.

Additional Information:
Please bring a water bottle and wear Rosie the Riveter attire if you plan on marching with the group.  Please wear comfortable shoes (tennis shoes).
