Subject: Sandbagging Station Open at Yountville Community Park
Wet weather is forecasted this weekend, which begins the onset of winter storm season! The joint Napa County/Town of Yountville sandbag station is being opened earlier than normal due to the conditions caused by the recent wildfires. The sandbagging station is located at the northwest corner of Washington Street and Grant Street at Yountville Community Park. Sandbags will be provided and are located in a bin, but we ask residents to bring their own shovels.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed by using the Town website, local and regional radio and television, weather services, and other reliable emergency information outlets. Residents should also sign up for Nixle, to receive emergency alert text messages. To sign up, please send a text message to 888-777 and type “94599” in the body of the text message. This will provide a Town of Yountville Nixle alert. As always in the event of an emergency, please call 9-11 or call the Sherriff’s Department at (707) 944-9228.
