Subject: 6th Yountville Out Loud Scheduled for May 10, 2018

Yountville Out Loud returns for an encore on Thursday, May 10 at 5:30 p.m. to the Yountville Community Center plaza. This year marks the sixth year of Out Loud, now a twice-a-year event.

Participants are encouraged to attend this open mic night and read, act or sing a passage from a poem, novel or piece they have written. Or, residents can just come out for a good time to watch others at the mic. Light bites and beverages will be provided. The last time Out Loud was held in September 2017; there were plenty of surprises.

Sandy Fagan directed the Rancho Radio Players performing a five-minute vintage radio mystery, “Death Calls at Dinner”. Joanie Blair led a group in temperance revival garb acting out a colorful “olio” or 19th-century musical number. Verlin Chalmers read from his book, “The Journey of the Frog”. Jacquie Schmall read her poems, Betty Priolo had a story about a box
and a number of others stepped up to the mic.

The Rancho Radio Players will be back on May 10. Marianne Lyon will lead a group of Yountville Elementary School kindergarteners in several songs. They also performed at the children’s art opening at the Yountville Community Center Gallery in December. No prior sign-up is required to participate. You are encouraged to come out for an evening of Yountville fun.
