Subject: 7th Yountville Out Loud Scheduled for May 9, 2019

Yountville Out Loud is scheduled for Thursday May 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the Yountville Community Center plaza. This open mic is the opportunity for community members to step up to the podium and is in its seventh year. The event will be held only once this year.

Participants are encouraged to attend the open mic night and read, act or sing a passage from a poem, novel or piece they have written. Or, residents can just come out for a good time to watch others at the mic. Light bites and beverages will be provided.

The last Out Loud was held on September 27 with a diverse group of readers and singers. Violet Hover and Pam Zeidell reprised their Abbott and Costello roles for a hilarious rendition of “Who’s On First”. Layla and Patton Ray each recited a poem, John St. Elwood inspired with his performance of “Never Enough”, Lori Hennigh sang and played guitar and Karla Reyff read from “Hamlet”.

Look forward to seeing Marianne Lyon lead a group of Yountville Elementary kindergarteners in acted-out songs. Plus there will be many other Out Loud surprises. No prior sign-up is required to participate in this event. You are encouraged to come out for an evening of Yountville fun.
