Subject:        Small Project Grant Program Accepting Applications

The Small Project Grant Program (also known as the Happiness Program) is now accepting applications from the community to bring to Yountville new fun and exciting programs.

The Small Project Grant Program provides residents, business owners, employees working in Town, or non-profit organizations the opportunity to receive a grant of up to $1,000 to implement a program or idea that enhances the quality of life in Yountville. The programs should be temporary, fun, unexpected, and inspiring.

Since its inception in 2018, the Small Project Grant Program has had multiple successful ideas. Some of these include:

  • The Book Bungalow Library which broughttwo book libraries to the neighborhoods for people to share books and that will be expanding in 2020
  • The Yountville Art Boxes which made residents and visitors interact by sharing a box with questions and share their response with the community
  • The sidewalk artwork which was designed to surprise visitors and locals throughout key locations

 Everyone is encouraged to apply for these grants to fund projects and programs that make a difference Yountville. The deadline to submit an application is February 14, 2020. Full details, including fact sheet and applications, are available for pickup at Town Hall and at our website
