Town Hall and Community Center Business Operations Changes and Upcoming Events Postponement/Cancellation

Subject: Town Hall and Community Center Business Operations Changes
In these very uncertain times we thank you for your patience and understanding as the Town has to drastically change the way we do business with you, our residents and businesses. The protection and safety of our community is our first priority and given that we are community with a significant senior population it dictated that we make some drastic changes including cancelling planned community events like Taste of Yountville and Art, Sip and Stroll along with ceasing all Parks & Recreation programming out of our Community Center, closing our after school program, as well as cancelling public meetings such as Town Council and Board and Commission meetings.
Effective Tuesday, March 17, we will be limiting public access to Town Hall and the Community Center to appointment only to help to do our part to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the greater community. Please call 944-8851 (Town Hall) or 944-8712 (Parks and Recreation) to make an appointment. We also encourage you to call or email Town business instead of in person if at all possible.
The following Yountville Parks and Recreation Department events/activities with be cancelled/postponed for the next 8 weeks. Classes at the Community Center are cancelled through at least March 31.

- The Egg Dying Event 4/10 Cancelled
- The Egg Hunt and Bunny Breakfast 4/11 Cancelled
- Advanced Health Care Planning 4/14 Cancelled
- Opening Reception for Marvin Humphrey Art Show 4/16 Postponed
- Shred It Event 4/17 Postponed
- Corte Madera Shopping Excursion 4/22 Cancelled
- Art, Sip and Stroll 4/25 Postponed
- Author Event: San Francisco Year Zero 5/5 Postponed
- Yountville Out Loud 5/7 Postponed
- Town Wide Yard Sale 5/9 Postponed

We are also working on some creative ways to keep you connected during this time of social distancing. We will get through this and cannot wait to reopen our doors to you as soon as possible.
