The Town of Yountville has been awarded over $800,000 in grants in order to provide assistance to eligible home owners in their home improvement projects. These funds will be used to assist households through deferred-payment loans.
The projects eligible for these funds must be related to rehabilitation, such as improving the structural integrity of a dwelling unit in order to meet building codes, correcting health and safety issues, and correcting code violations. If the homeowner can prove adequate financial need, they will be granted a loan to assist in the funding of the project.
To qualify for the project, the applicant must be an income eligible homeowner. The owner’s total household income must be at or below 80% of the area median income. The chart below displays 80% of the Napa area’s median income:

Mobile or Manufactured Homes
The program will fund 20 year deferred payment-forgivable loans for owners of mobile or manufactured homes. Loan forgiveness would start in year 11 of the loan and will be totally forgiven after the 20th year. Each loan will have a 0% interest rate. The maximum loan amount is $15,000.
The program will fund 30 year deferred payment loans for owners of single-family homes, town-homes, or condos. In this program, the maximum loan amount is $58,000 with a 0% interest rate.
