For the most up to date information please visitthe Napa Valley Conference & Visitors Bureau.

The Napa Valley Conference and Visitors Bureau leads countywide tourism management efforts in a manner that:

  • communicates the diversity of our destination
  • strengthens the local economy
  • preserves Napa Valley's agricultural heritage
How do we accomplish our mission?

Tourism management means informing visitors about the best times to travel to Napa Valley - enhancing the quality of the visitor experience and improving the quality of life for locals. (See the Four Perfect Days itinerary button on the homepage for the sample itinerary designed by the Napa Valley CVB). It means assisting individuals and groups with complete and timely information to aid them in locating wineries, restaurants, hotels and area attractions.

It requires great sensitivity to maintain a strong tourism economy in balance with the delicate infrastructure of the country's premiere wine region. Our visitors must be vigilant about exercising caution on our country roads, and development must be limited so as to enhance, and never supercede the agricultural nature of this region. The Napa Valley CVB is committed to sustainable tourism and advocates for issues that enhance the longterm viability of local farming and viticulture.

More than 500 local businesses support the mission of the Napa Valley CVB, helping us promote the unique and diverse character of Napa Valley through newspapers, magazines, radio and television programs all over the country and throughout the world. We are charged with running the Office of Protocol for the region, including the Sister Cities program, and we manage the Napa Valley Film Commission. Bureau committees have been catalysts for such projects as the popular Napa County Bicycle Map and the Napa Valley Hospitality School, training entry-level service industry employees to provide the highest levels of customer service throughout Napa Valley. (Email, call or write us to join in partnership to support the mission of the Napa Valley CVB).
