Town Clerk as the Election Official

The Town Clerk with support from the Napa County Registrar of Voters administers Federal, State and Local procedures through which local government representatives are selected. The Clerk assists candidates in meeting their legal responsibilities before, during and after an election. From election pre-planning to certification of election results and filing of final campaign disclosure documents, the Town Clerk manages the elections process which forms the foundation of our democratic system of government.

The Election will consist of the following:

  • Election of a Mayor for a four-year term
  • Election of two Council Members each for a four-year term
  • Ballot Measure R (Increase of Appropriation Limits - Gann Limit)
  • Ballot Measure S (Increase to TOT (Hotel Tax) by 1% for Housing)
