    The Town Council invites those who cannot attend one of the three (3) public input meetings to discuss the draft Strategic Plan to provide their feedback using an online survey. This survey will be available until 5:00 p.m. on Friday April 7, 2017. Responses to the survey are anonymous.

  • Town Council Seeks Input on Draft Strategic Plan

    There will be three (3) public input meetings held over two days on April 6th and April 7th facilitated by The Novak Consulting Group. The first meeting on April 6th will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and the second meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. These meetings will take place at the Yountville Community Center. The third meeting will be held on April 7th from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Town Council Chambers. All meetings will be identically structured.

    The Town of Yountville has partnered with Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA) to offer protection for homeowners for external sewer lines. The coverage is voluntary and available at affordable monthly or annual prices.

  • New Board and Commission Vacancies

    The Yountville Town Council is seeking community volunteers to serve on the Yountville Arts Commission and Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission. Yountville Representatives on Countywide Boards are also available.


  • Low Pressure Water For Yountville Water Customers; Water service interrupted for Customers at Yountville Cross Road and Silverado Trail

    The Town received a call shortly after 1:15 p.m. from staff at the Rector Reservoir Treatment Plant operated by the Veterans Home, that they have a leak on the 18 inch line that serves the Town’s (and Veterans Home) drinking water. The Town has switched over to the City of Napa’s water supply for the time being to allow for the Veterans Home staff to make repairs.

  • Hot Weather Event Beginning August 31, 2017 for Extended Period

    Higher than normal temperatures are expected over Labor Day weekend, beginning Thursday August 31, 2017 and ongoing through next week. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory and excessive heat warning and is forecasting temperatures to exceed 100 degrees during this time with no exact timing for duration. The Town of Yountville’s Community Center will be open during the following times to offer a place to cool off. The Community Center is located at 6516 Washington Street. Please check with the front desk to verify the exact room location.

  • Painting at the Post Office to Begin the Week of August 14, 2017

    Beginning the week of August 14, 2017 and continuing through August 25, 2017, the Town will be completing regular maintenance of the Town owned Post Office building. This maintenance work includes power washing and painting of the building exterior.

  • Path Closed Behind Yountville Elementary School (in between Finnell and Yount Street)

    The path behind the Yountville Elementary School, located in between Yount Street and Finnell Street is closed for tree safety purposes. Recently, a significant tree limb fell from the “Grandfather” Oak tree along Hopper Creek. Town staff had the Town’s arborist evaluate the tree. However, because the tree is a Heritage Oak, both the Town and the arborist are seeking a second arborist to evaluate the tree, especially focusing on what could be done to save the tree, if at all possible.

  • Annual Water Quality Report for the Town of Yountville Issued

    The Town of Yountville is pleased to report this year that the drinking water supplied to water customers meets or exceeds state and federal public health standards for drinking water quality and safety. California water retailers, including the Town of Yountville, are required by law to inform customers about the quality of their drinking water. The results of the testing and monitoring programs of 2016 are included in the full report, which can be viewed on the Town’s website.

  • Napa County Press Release - Prepare for Hot Weather

    (NAPA, Calif--) With temperatures expected to reach above 100°F degrees in some parts of Napa County this week, Public Health Officer, Dr. Karen Relucio, encourages residents to prepare for the hot weather. “When temperatures are high, we want everyone to stay cool, hydrated and informed,” said Dr. Relucio. “Although nearly everyone is uncomfortable in high heat, some people are more vulnerable than others.

    The Town of Yountville invites the public to attend a formal dedication of the mural on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park amphitheater area.   • Yountville Community Pool Opens for the Summer on June 17th!

    The Yountville Community Swimming Pool will open for its 2017 summer season on Saturday, June 17th. The Pool is open Tuesday through Sunday for adult lap swim, senior swim, recreational swim time and swim lessons.

  • Miss Carol Rasmussen is Retiring!

    Join us in celebrating the retirement of “Miss Carol” Rasmussen after over 11 years as a Recreation Coordinator with the Town of Yountville. Carol has been instrumental in the lives of most children and families who have come through Yountville Elementary or enrolled in Camp Y-Ville for the past 11 years. Miss Carol’s official last day is June 9, 2017.

  • Hopper Creek Path Along Heather Street Closed From June 12 to June 23, 2017 For Pathway Surface Replacement

    The pathway along Heather Street from Mulberry Street to Oak Circle Park, including the pedestrian bridge will be closed from June 12, 2017 to approximately June 23, 2017 for renovations. Parking may be impacted along Heather Street during this project as well. Once completed residents will be able to enjoy a fully ADA accessible (American’s with Disability Act) path.

  • Solar Project at Community Center
