  • 8.14 miles of paved streets
  • Pavement
  • Sidewalks
  • Curbs and gutters
  • Signage (street, stop, traffic control, etc.), including the unique wood framed signs
  • Striping and painting
  • Drainage systems

  • Vegetation removal in public right-of-way

This maintenance level does not include the streets located within the Veteran's Home of California, which is the property of the State and therefore maintained by the State.

This division is supervised by the Public Works Manager and three staff members, but relies heavily on outside contractors/vendors for street sweeping. The budget includes sign materials and equipment replacement. This division is responsible for the maintenance and construction of Yountville's unique wood framed sign and wood post street identification signs. These signs are created, installed and maintained by Town staff.

Most construction and repairs included in the five year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget. Street maintenance also coordinates with the accessibility, tree, sidewalk, curb and gutter projects listed in the CIP Budget.

This division is also responsible for the Town's Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP), which is supervised by the Municipal Operations Supervisor and Management Analyst. The Town implements its storm water management program both locally and in coordination with the other municipalities in Napa County. Countywide policies and procedures can be viewed on the Napa Countywide Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program website.

This division also works closely with the Engineering division to manage the Pavement Management Program.
