Yountville Arts is thrilled to announce its upcoming exhibition, "EMOTIVE COLOR: Vineyards and Beyond," featuring the compelling works of acclaimed artist Pamela Anderson. The show will be on view from October 10 to November 29, 2024, with an opening reception on Thursday October 10, 2024, from 5:30 PM  to 7PM The gallery is located at the Community Center, 6515 Washington Street, Yountville.

Pamela Anderson, a celebrated California native, will showcase her vibrant acrylic and oil pastel paintings at the Steve Rogers Gallery. Holding a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and a Secondary Teaching Credential from the University of California at Davis, Andersons work has been profoundly shaped by her studies under notable artists such as Thiebaud, Arneson, and DeForest. Her artistic style, influenced by the California Funk” movement, is known for its bold use of color and light.

Pamela shared that “Living amongst the vines awakens my soul, causes reflection and incites overwhelming passion to document the emotion.” 

"EMOTIVE COLOR: Vineyards and Beyond" delves into the dramatic landscapes of California, capturing their emotional essence through Andersons dynamic use of color and light. Her paintings offer a vivid and immersive experience, highlighting the continual movement and contrast found in nature. 

The opening reception on October 10 provides an opportunity to meet Pamela Anderson, explore her creative process, and engage with her latest series. Yountville Arts invites the community to join this special event and experience the vibrant world of "EMOTIVE COLOR.” Refreshments and small bites will be served.
