The Town of Yountville is thrilled to announce the official raising of the Philadelphia Pride Flag in honor of Pride Month on Tuesday, June 6 at 2:30pm on the Town Hall ceremonial flagpole. This symbolic gesture demonstrates our unwavering commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Pride Month is a time to celebrate the resilience, strength, and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals. It is an opportunity to advocate for equality, educate the public, and foster an environment of acceptance and respect. By raising the Pride Flag, The Town of Yountville reaffirms its dedication to fostering a supportive culture and promoting LGBTQ+ rights.

"We are excited to raise the Philadelphia Pride Flag as a visible symbol of our commitment to inclusivity and equality," said Mayor Margie Mohler. "This gesture reflects our ongoing efforts to create a safe and supportive environment for all, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity."

The Philadelphia Pride Flag, with its vibrant colors, represents the diverse identities and experiences within the LGBTQ+ community. By flying the flag, the Town of Yountville sends a powerful message of support, acceptance, and allyship.

As we celebrate Pride Month, the Town of Yountville encourages other businesses, organizations, and individuals to join us in raising the Pride Flag, demonstrating their commitment to equality and inclusivity. Let us unite in creating a world where everyone can live, work, and thrive without fear of discrimination or prejudice.
