The Town of Yountville is excited to participate in California Coastal Cleanup Day on September 23, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Van de Leur Park. This annual event, celebrated across the state, promotes community engagement and environmental stewardship, and Yountville is joining in to make a local impact.

California Coastal Cleanup Day is a renowned event, usually focused on cleaning up the state's coastline. Yountville's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility extends this initiative inland to emphasize the importance of clean, healthy communities. Van de Leur Park will be the meeting point for volunteers to come together, take action, and demonstrate their dedication to preserving Yountville's natural beauty.

Residents and volunteers of all ages are encouraged to participate in this family-friendly event, where they will work together to collect litter and debris, enhance the park's natural beauty, and learn about sustainable practices. 

"I am thrilled that Yountville is participating in California Coastal Cleanup Day this year. It's an opportunity for our community to come together, take action, and show our commitment to a cleaner, greener Yountville," said Town Manager Brad Raulston.

"We believe that every action counts, and by participating in this event, you're not only helping beautify our community but also sending a powerful message about the importance of environmental responsibility," added Kendra Bruno, Code Compliance Officer and site captain of the Yountville Cleanup Day event.

Join us at in Yountville at Van de Leur Park at 9 am on September 23, 2023, where we will meet and disperse to the Vine Trail to pick up debris and be part of Yountville's commitment to preserving our beautiful town and protecting the environment for generations to come.
