Yountville Night Out is gearing up to be a fantastic community-building event, bringing neighbors together at various block party locations across Town. Join your neighbors for a fun-filled evening at one of the parties listed below. For those who don't have a block party in their neighborhood this year, we'll be hosting an event at the Community Center BBQ Area. Not only will you have a chance to connect with neighbors, but the Sheriff's Office also Mounted Posse, COAD (Community Organizations Active in Disaster), Station 12 Fire, and Town staff will be making rounds through Yountville to visit each gathering. - Yountville Community Center BBQ Area

Yountville Commons Engagement Timeline The Yountville Commons engagement timeline is here! The Town is excited to share upcoming opportunities to participate! This timeline outlines a series of events and opportunities for residents and partners to share ideas about interim uses as well as future vision of Yountville Commons. Brendan Kelly, architect at Kelly + Morgan Architects, will be facilitating the engagement process. The Town invites community members to join him for a cup of coffee and have a conversation about the vision, preferences, and aspirations for the project. Town Council Study Session - Date: Tuesday, August 6, 1-3 PM
- Location: Town Hall Council Chambers, 6550 Yount Street
- This is an informal opportunity for the Town Council to interact with the public but is still subject to open meeting rules.
Open House Event - Date: Monday, August 19, 3-6 PM
- Location: Commons Hall (formerly the Multi-Purpose Room), 6554 Yount Street
- Details: Community members are encouraged to drop in and receive a progress report about interim uses and provide input for the idea/vision phase.
Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission (PRAC) Study Session - Date: Thursday, September 19, 6 PM
- Location: Town Hall Council Chambers, 6550 Yount Street
- Details: PRAC’s provides advice to the Council and staff on topics such as facilities, parks, public recreation, and community programming.
Affordable and Workforce Housing Oversight Committee (Measure S) Study Session - Date: October (Specific date TBD)
- Location: Town Hall Council Chambers, 6550 Yount Street
- Details: The Measure S Committee is responsible for evaluating programs and services related to Measure S funding and reporting findings to Town Council.
During the November 2018 election, Yountville voters approved Measure S increasing the Transient Occupancy Tax by one percent to fund programs and services related to workforce and affordable housing. Zoning and Design Review Board (ZDRB) Study Session - Date: Tuesday, November 12, 5:30 PM
- Location: Town Hall Council Chambers, 6550 Yount Street
- Details: ZDRB is responsible for making recommendations to Town Council relating to land use and development within the Town of Yountville.
Throughout the engagement timeline, the Town will host additional open house events between September and February to ensure ongoing dialogue and transparency. Online surveys will also be used throughout the engagement process. Signup for the email list here and select the "News Flash" for Yountville Commons. Residents are also welcome to make an appointment to discuss the project during “office hours” at the Commons on Tuesday mornings and the last Saturday of the month from August to November from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Click here to schedule a time to share your thoughts and ask questions. The Town of Yountville encourages all community members to actively participate in these events to help shape a collective vision for the future of Yountville Commons. By collaborating, we can build upon our strengths, address challenges, and continue to cultivate a vibrant community.

Planning & Building Land Use Projects and Other Applications - Pancha’s Bar: The application for Pancha’s Bar is in review and tentatively scheduled to go to the ZDRB August 13th for their recommendation to the Town Council. 6630 Jefferson Street: Staff received an application for changes to the previously approved project. The application was deemed complete July 17, 2024, and is now under review. It is tentatively scheduled for the September 10 ZDRB meeting. 6795 Washington Street, Building E: Staff received an application for a new Use Permit for Hope & Grace to occupy Building E in Washington Square for wine tasting services. Staff is reviewing the application for completeness. ZDRB - The next ZDRB meeting is scheduled for August 13, 2024. Town Council - The Town Council held a 2nd public hearing for the proposed subdivision to be located at 1980 Yountville Crossroads for a nine-lot subdivision. After receiving the staff report, hearing from the applicant and receiving public comments, the council deliberated on the proposed project and approved the project with conditions.

Employee SpotlightThe Town would like to introduce two new additions to our Town team: Misty Amblard joined our administrative team as Administrative Assistant. Misty comes to the Town with a strong background in Executive Administrative work, most recently at Meadowood Napa Valley, and has a passion for helping teams run smoothly. Her experience and positive attitude are a great asset.
John Gomez joined the Parks Maintenance team and will be helping keep Yountville parks in tiptop shape on a part-time basis. Please join us in giving both Misty and John a warm welcome! Feel free to introduce yourself when you come into Town Hall or see John in the parks keeping everything beautiful.
We also celebrate the work anniversary of Jacob Solis who has been with the Town of Yountville for 10 years! Please join us in thanking him for his hard work and dedication to making Yountville a wonderful place to live and visit!
