Camp Y-Ville Wraps Up a Fun-Filled Summer! Led by Recreation Coordinator Taylor Solis and Recreation Specialist Isaac Kirkland, our team of 21 Camp Leaders and 23 Volunteer Counselors in Training made lasting memories for an average of 85 campers each week this summer. Today wraps up nine full weeks of Camp Y-Ville at the Yountville Commons, and we’ll close out the season with two more camp days next week before school begins on Wednesday. We couldn’t be more proud of our Camp Y-Ville team, who work tirelessly to ensure our campers are safe, active, and inspired each day—going home exhausted from all the fun they’ve had. Our 23 Counselors in Training (CITs) complete a 15-hour leadership training series and then volunteer up to 100 hours over the summer as Camp Staff helpers. We are grateful for their service. Shake, Rattle & Roll - It's Residents Bash Time. Yountville residents are invited to shake, rattle, and roll at our fabulous 1950s-themed Sock Hop party on Friday, August 22! Slip into your poodle skirts and leather jackets, slick back that hair or tie up a scarf—or just come as you are (dressing up is not required)—and join us for a rockin’ good time filled with jukebox jams, soda shop treats, and retro fun. Whether you’re a cool cat or a pink lady, get ready to twist the night away and party like it’s 1955! Food, drinks, live music, and dancing!
