Subject:        First Confirmed COVID-19 Case in Yountville

Napa County Public Health has announced the first confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19) of a resident of the Town of Yountville. Following a legal order from the County, the patient is under mandatory quarantine orders. County officials are investigating the case and tracking individuals who may have had direct contact with the patient.

We remind you that our highest priority is to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The community should assume that anyone, even those without symptoms, could have coronavirus and be unintentionally infecting others. By changing our behaviors to prevent the spread of the virus, we can help keep our community healthy and save each other's lives.

We continue to urge everyone to stay at home, cover your face when in public spaces and practice social distancing as ordered by our Napa County Public Health Officer and Governor Newsom.

The County of Napa has established an information line at (707) 253-4540 and provides updates on the countywide situation through their website. The Town also created a COVID-19 page to provide updates and other important information to support the community.

Our highest priority is to keep you, your families, and our community safe. Remember, we are in this together. Thank you for your continued patience.
