Subject:       Sewer Collection System Repair Work to Start on May 26, 2020

The Town of Yountville will be working with Robotic Sewer Solutions to perform internal repair of 88 sewer laterals at the connection to the sewer main. These connections were identified as contributors of infiltration of groundwater adding unnecessary flow to the system.  This clean groundwater is unnecessarily treated at the Wastewater Reclamation Facility and with this project will be remedied. Crews will be performing this work from access manholes in the street and will not require any excavation of the streets. The crew will notify residents individually when they are ready to install a repair.

The work will take about 30 minutes per installation so, there will be very little “down time”. Residents do not need to be home for these repairs to take place as the team will not require any access to the property. The bulk of this work will be taking place on Madison Street and on Yount Street north of Hopper Creek. Smaller sections on Oak Circle, Colombard Way, Oak Leaf Court will also be done as part of this project. A section of sewer main that runs through Rancho De Napa and Bella Vista Mobile Home Parks will be addressed as well.

Please be aware of workers and equipment and pay attention to any road work signs.

Any questions can be directed to Don Moore, Utility Operations Manager @ or (707) 944-2988.
