One of the Town of Yountville's primary goals is to be a pedestrian friendly community. This includes providing a safe environment for the 49% of the population that is older than 65 years old. The purpose of the Accessibility Improvements Program / Transition Plan is to review the Town's policies, programs, facilities and activities to determine issues that may affect people with disabilities.
At its August 4, 2015 regular meeting, the Yountville Town Council adopted resolution number 15-3285, which approved the updated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan (SETP). This plan will be a guiding document for the Town, providing policies to use in future decision making.
