Recycled Water Program
The Town of Yountville operates and maintains a joint wastewater treatment plant that produces recycled water. The treatment plant reclaims water from a variety of sources then treats and reuses it for beneficial purposes such as agriculture and irrigation, potable water supplies, groundwater replenishment, industrial processes, and environmental restoration.
The primary goal of this division is to treat the wastewater generated by the Town of Yountville including the California Veterans Home to high quality that can be beneficially reused for irrigation purposes.
The Town of Yountville’s primary water source is Rector Reservoir located east of Silverado Trail. The State of California Department of Veterans Affairs owns and operates the water treatment facility at Rector Reservoir and the treated water is purchased by the Town.
Service Line Warranty of America Program
The Town has partnered with Service Line Warranties of America to offer three low cost optional and voluntary repair projection programs! There are no annual or lifetime limits, service fees or deductibles – just protection when you need it most! No public funds are used to promote or administer the program.
