The current benefit package includes:
- California Public Employee Retirement System (CalPERS) 2% @ 55 for Classic members (7% member contribution paid by employee), 2% @ 62 for PEPRA members (7.75% member contribution paid by employee)
- CalPERS health plan for employee and qualified dependents
- Dental insurance provided by the Town for employee and qualified dependents
- Vision reimbursement program
- Up to 7% Town match contributed to deferred compensation program
- Paid vacation, which accrues at varying rates depending upon position and bargaining unit
- An average of fifteen paid holidays annually
- Paid sick leave (twelve days per year)
